MATH: The answer to life, universe and everything

Theorem X: Recursive proof for Math: The meaning of life, universe and everything.

This theorem is also Axiom 0.

Axiom 1: Deep thought is a genius and is always correct.
Axiom 2: By Axiom 0, math is THE answer and hence represent everything using MATH.

Proof:

Step 1: Using Axiom 1, "42" is THE answer (Ref. Hitchhiker's guide to galaxy).
Step 2: Using Axiom 2, we need to represent MATH in math i.e. MATH = 13+1+20+8 = 42

Hence, MATH = 42 = THE answer

Control Engineer's Party

Similar to the lines of this Physicist's party: http://www.physlink.com/fun/physicsparty.cfm
As with the Physics jokes, the audience need some knowledge of what contribution that these great people made to the field of control engineering.

- Kalman was confused if the drink was controllable or observable or both ?
- Black was collecting feedback about the party and found it to be negative.
- Routh and Hurwitz were counting the number of poles (those from Poland) in the right half of the party hall.
- Minorsky was intent to make his body move directionally stable towards the bartender.
- Bode was estimating the margin between him and the girl next to him.
- Evans was concerned whether the locus of roots he ate was from the left half of his plate.
- Zadeh was feeling that everything around looked fuzzy.
- Ziegler and Nichlos were busy tuning the PID (Prospect of Identifying the Dish).
- Vidyasagar was curious if the Bartender had a real arm or a robotic arm.
- Wiener was arguing that if waiters serving drinks proves cybernetics.
- Lyapunov was trying to find an energy function for the stability of ice cream till he finished the other items.

Need to keep adding more and more with other control contributors ...

The Bliss of Darkness ....

There is darkness all around me,
As I stand still under tall canopies,
With the moon hiding behind the clouds,
Those clouds that pour down these days.
The gushing sound of the wild stream,
Gives a wonderful background score.

Through the dark thickets of flora,
Emerge tens of little twinkling lights,
It feels like I'm floating in the sky,
As the twinkles move around near me,
I realize that I'm still on ground,
And those are called 'fireflies'.

I trudge along quietly and down,
Towards the artificial lights,
For I have to get back to sleep,
But I can always come back here,
To this Bliss of darkness so close,
For I'm still within IITB campus.
